History of Weston Imports
Otto Filipitsch was an apprentice hairdresser at the age of 14 in his father's salon in Austria. He migrated to Australia in 1949 and after overcoming the problems of settling in to a new country and it's language difficulties, he was able to start his own hairdressing salon in 1952. He later opened a second salon. His son, Werner, a fourth generation hairdresser, was apprenticed in the salon at the age of 15. In 1971, Otto began to import a few hairdryers from Germany and Weston Imports was born.
The hairdressing staff from Butterfly Salon continued their career in the importing business and their hairdressing knowledge became a great benefit to the customers.
Weston Imports was one of the first to import top quality products from Europe and will endeavour to continue this tradition.
Weston Imports is now managed by Helen and Werner and their aim is to import new and exciting products and continue with the help of their long standing staff to give efficient and courteous service to all of their wholesalers.
Service
Weston Imports are proud of their After Sales Service. All products carry the normal manufacturers warranties. All Spare Parts can be obtained from Weston Imports and all units can be serviced by our designated repair agents.
